The QPS Connect Client is an application that users install on their Mac® or Windows computer. Depending on the user's assigned role in the system, QPS Connect Client allows the user to connect to and administer, manage, and contribute content to the system from the office or a remote location with Internet access, giving them the flexibility to work where you want.
Both QuarkXPress and QuarkCopyDesk include the remote access capabilities of the connect client. Designers, writers, and copy editors can work in either application and connect to QPS 7 directly from either application. Design, write, or edit from either application. Then check in or check out project components remotely from either application.
For those times when your work takes you away from your company's network, you can access QPS remotely through the QPS Web Hub using a Web browser and a URL. Through the QPS Web Hub, contributors can view their assignments and write, edit, and copyfit text. Managers can monitor publications and projects, as well as track and adjust user workloads - all using a Web browser.
