QuarkXPress Server will run on computers and operating systems designed for desktop client use under Mac OS X 10.4.x and Windows XP service pack 2 so that you can install it on development and demonstration computers. However, such setups are not recommended for production server deployment.
NOTE Client editions of Mac OS (10.4.8 or later) are supported for development testing, but not recommended for production environments.
NOTE PowerPC systems are not recommended.
NOTE For multiple–Sub–Renderer operation, you can achieve greater performance by using one processor core per Sub–Renderer.
NOTE The more Sub–Renderers you use, the more memory you need.
