  • Easy Flash® output generation: Generate custom or targeted banner ads, collateral, reports and other marketing materials for different audiences, sites or in different languages automatically by modifying text and graphics on-the-fly, using the same layout repeatedly with different content.
  • Native Transparency Mode: Create PDFs two ways: Flattened Transparency mode and the new Native Transparency mode. Native Transparency mode allows objects to which transparency has been applied to remain unflattened in the final PDF output. This results in faster PDF export of complex transparency jobs.
  • Layers in PDF: Output PDF files that include QuarkXPress layers. Individual QuarkXPress layers can be embedded or suppressed and are preserved as layers in the PDF. Printers can now receive PDFs from their clients with multiple versions of content embedded in multiple layers, such as regionalized marketing materials, and output all versions from a single file.
  • Dynamic Layout – Fit Box to Content: Using QuarkXPress Server, users can define text and picture boxes that dynamically adjust their size to fit the text and images within. This is useful for newsletters, technical documentation, magazine pages, and books that must accommodate content that varies in length.
