QuarkXPress Server 7.21 Issues Resolved

Following is a list of issues resolved in QuarkXPress® Server 7.21.

  • RESOLVED: In a master-subrenderer environment, if you check Allow Document to Stay Open in QuarkXPress (QuarkXPress/Edit > Preferences > QuarkXPress Server pane), but then check Force Served Documents Closed in QuarkXPress Server (QuarkXPress Server > Server Configuration > Server tab), QuarkXPress Server may unexpectedly quit if you send more than one Modify request to a project using the QXP namespace.
  • RESOLVED: QuarkXPress Server cannot render grouped boxes according to the name provided by the Telegraph XTensions software in QuarkXPress.
  • RESOLVED: If you add enough application plugins for Internet Explorer® 7.0, the "Accept" HTTP header exceeds 255 characters, and QuarkXPress Server displays an error message (536) the first time you make a QuarkXPress Server request.
  • RESOLVED: The values for Angle and Skew presented in XML display incorrect characters instead of the degree symbol and numerals exclusively.
  • RESOLVED: Right-indent tab characters are not maintained when you deconstruct and reconstruct a QuarkXPress project that contains them.
  • RESOLVED: The Keep Lines Together paragraph attribute is not maintained when you deconstruct and reconstruct a QuarkXPress project that contains text with this paragraph attribute applied.
  • RESOLVED: You cannot specify PDF output options through QuarkXPress Server using the "_XT_PRINT_JOBINFO" callback.
  • RESOLVED: The Alpha Mask value of "None" translates literally to the program and OS language instead of retaining its absolute value.
  • RESOLVED: QuarkXPress Server unexpectedly quits when you use the "ProduceDocumentImage" API to render a document in QuarkXPress format and subsequently use the "XTLayoutToXImage" API. Other image formats work correctly.
  • RESOLVED: If you pass the XML representation of a deconstructed layout to the server as the value for a modify parameter, the request fails.
  • RESOLVED: Mac OS only: QuarkXPress unexpectedly quits if you do not have a Quark® License Administrator (QLA) license checked out when you specify a Virtual IP address and try to connect to QLA.
  • RESOLVED: QuarkXPress unexpectedly quits if you check Allow Document to Stay Open in QuarkXPress, uncheck Force Served Documents Closed in QuarkXPress Server, upload a QuarkXPress project, and then submit two successive Modify requests for the project.
